Due to the continued hazardous travel conditions forecasted for overnight, the Town of Grand Rapids Municipal Building will be closed tomorrow, Monday, 3/16/2026; to ensure the safety of the employees and residents.

Although Waste Management has not announced any closure or delays for tomorrow, please expect that Monday’s garbage service may likely be delayed or postponed until Tuesday.    

The current snow emergency remains in effect until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 3/16/2026, which means vehicles cannot be parked on Town roads. The Public Works crew has been out all day doing their very best to keep the roads maintained. Please be patient and understand how difficult it is for even the plows in these conditions; with limited visibility, drifting, etc., and more snow coming overnight still.
