WISCONSIN NATIONAL GUARD

The 2025 Sentry North exercise (formally Northern Lightning) will result in increased flight activity over central Wisconsin June 2-15. F-35s, F-16s and other military aircraft are scheduled to train between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day. Aircraft flying above 30,000 ft. are authorized by the FAA to operate at supersonic speeds within the Volk Military Operating Area, which may be audible at ground level.
Be advised that the following counties may experience increased audible military flight operations: Adams, Brown, Calumet, Clark, Columbia, Dodge, Eau Claire, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Jackson, Juneau, Manitowoc, Marathon, Marquette, Monroe, Outagamie, Ozaukee, Portage, Shawano, Sheboygan, Trempealeau, Washington, Waupaca, Waushara, Winnebago and Wood.
